Zight Club is a community for sharing your zeitgeist - music, media, and cultural recommendations. This content policy helps maintain a respectful and engaging environment for all members.

Prohibited Content

The following types of content are not allowed on Zight Club:

  • Illegal content: Content that violates laws or promotes illegal activities
  • Harassment and bullying: Targeted harassment, threats, or intimidation of individuals
  • Hate speech: Content that promotes hatred or violence against people based on protected characteristics
  • Spam and manipulation: Excessive promotion, vote manipulation, or inauthentic activity
  • Personal information: Sharing private information (doxxing) without consent
  • Impersonation: Pretending to be another person or entity
  • Copyright violation: Sharing copyrighted material without proper authorization

Community Guidelines

Posting and Sharing

  • Stay on topic within each Zight (topic area)
  • Use descriptive titles that accurately represent your content
  • Credit original creators when sharing content
  • Avoid excessive self-promotion

Comments and Discussion

  • Stay on topic and contribute meaningfully to discussions
  • Disagree respectfully and focus on ideas, not personal attacks
  • Use the mute feature if you wish to avoid content from specific users
  • Report content that violates this policy

Invitations

  • Each user receives 2 invitations after being a member for 30 days
  • Only share invitations with people you believe will contribute positively
  • You may be held accountable for the behavior of users you invite

Enforcement

Violations of this content policy may result in:

  • Content removal
  • Temporary suspension
  • Permanent account termination

The severity of enforcement actions depends on the nature and frequency of violations. Administrators have final discretion on all moderation decisions.

Changes to This Policy
